Ghostwriting means we create content in your voice under your name.

Developmental editing means you have an experienced writer at your side to guide you through your project.

However you choose to work together, our goal is the same: We want to help you tell your story.

It’s OK if you’re not a writer.

It’s OK if you’re a writer with no time to write.

It’s also OK if you’re a writer looking for a thought partner.

You have a story to tell, and Ink & Soil’s writers know how to tell it—or how to help you tell it—in your voice. Whether it’s a series of blog entries, letters to your constituents or a whole book, we can let this story unfold together.

From Lisa:

I first became a ghostwriter in college. As a young animal science major working in the college’s public relations office, I was asked to write the college president’s letter in the alumni magazine. I did such a good job that I remained his ghostwriter until I graduated.

Since then, I’ve ghostwritten for a dozen or more business owners, influencers, previously published authors and others just too busy to pen their own work. This includes five books and dozens of articles.

My greatest ghostwriting achievement: After I took over writing a book partway through, the named author’s spouse couldn’t tell where their writing ended and mine began.

Nice words from clients:

“You were crucial in making this book happen, Lisa. Thank you so much, and it was an absolute joy working with you.”

“Thank you so much, Lisa! I truly hope to get to work together again in the future. I can’t tell you how appreciative I am of the relief this brought to me. I’ve teared up multiple times reading what you’ve written because it’s just so good. Thank you so much.”
